Adult Tennis Camps
During the camp, players train 1.5 hours per day (3 total hours) with a focus on technique, tactics, mindset, and performance. The training goes from improving minor aspects of play to focus on strategic play and competing at a championship level. Please specify your level of play in our registration form so that the organization can group players accordingly. Please note that during the first training session players may be moved around by the Rafa Nadal Academy Head Coach based on their real level and/or the group distribution requirements. Total Tennis Doubles
The Total Tennis Doubles camp is designed for doubles players who want to improve overall performance, placing special importance on essential aspects of the game like covering the net, attacking the net and smart shot choice, all crucial abilities to excel in league, tournament, and club competitions. The main contents that the camp covers are the following:
- Avoiding the net player.
- Improving the net game.
- Serve and return strategy.
This training will give you and your partner the development and competitive edge you need to play the game using real competition situations – the Rafa way!
Total Tennis Singles
Sessions are designed for the individual player who wants to improve overall tennis performance. The staff makes an initial assessment of the level of play to then tailor the training based on the Rafa Nadal Methodology. The main focus will be on technique and tactics while also placing importance on tennis-specific conditioning.
The main contents that the camp focuses on are the following:
- Defensive shots
- Offensive shots
- Net game
All these contents are worked upon a progressive model that relies on the following structure:
- Warm-up (without the racquet).
- Warm up (with the racquet).
- Technical/tactical drills (hand feeding, racquet feeding, coach-volley).
- “Live ball” drills (real game situations).
