The junior camp is designed for youth players from ages 9 to 18 who train with the official Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar training staff to improve their game and maximize their potential through the Rafa Nadal Methodology. The 6-day camp consists of training with unique access to the Academy’s training philosophy. Players will experience how to play modern & creative tennis – an attractive, technically/tactically-skilled, forward-playing game. The camps are open to all levels except beginners. Beginners are welcome to register in our private lessons. Players will be grouped by age and skill level so that every participant is challenged.
6 DAY TENNIS CAMP
All our camps are based on the following principles:
- Expert daily instruction from 8:30 AM – 3 PM
- Feedback by the coach to give direction to the players so they can better achieve the camp goals.
- Individualization with the objective of adjusting the feedback to the specific needs of each player.
- Repetition so that the technical and tactical aspects of the game are memorized and automated by the players.
- Intensity to provide the best physical conditioning needed to progress in the game.
- Fun to produce the best atmosphere in the learning process.
- Goal: To maximize the player’s strengths and minimize their weaknesses, improving their tennis performance and physical fitness.
Rafa Nadal Academy The Worlwide Recognized Methodology
Train under the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar methodology and improve your game and maximize your potential under the same winning mentality that has helped Rafa Nadal win 22 Grand Slams. Every aspect of your training is taken from the official methodology developed by Toni Nadal at the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar in Mallorca. On court training, off court athletic performance and building a champion workshop combine to provide each player with an individual plan for improving all aspects of their game.
Spanish Rafa Nadal Academy Coaches
All of our carefully selected coaches have been trained by the Rafa Nadal Academy Camp and are experts in every aspect of the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar methods. Coaches travel from Spain to coach the players. In addition, many coaches have coached and played at the highest level in the US and are familiar with US tennis and junior tour and NCAA competition standards.
Reduced Group Size
To ensure the best quality training environment each court will be supervised by one Rafa Nadal Academy Camp coach with a maximum of four players per court. In this way we can ensure that players get as much attention as possible. Sessions address player specific goals established by the player and coach and the low coach to player ratio allows us to optimize learning and improvement in every aspect of the game.
